Gary Knutson (Standing, second from right, white-t/s): The one next to Gary called APO to get an ok to pop a flare. As soon as they said no he poped it. Lit up a marine patrol. Marines were pissed... do you remember his name?;
Don Poss (center-right, standing with back to viewer); I believe the guy on the right bending half way over is SSgt Abb Campbell. He was a black SSgt who arrived early 1966, after TSgt Rice. I think Rice arrived sometime in Dec 1965.
