I am trying to locate any members of the 388th Security Police Sq., who served with me on Korat Town Patrol, in the years 1969 thru 1970. I have enclosed a couple of photos of our Town Patrol. They where a great bunch of guys. We patrolled jointly with the Security Police of the 388th, and the 219th. I belonged to the 219th MP Co. Can you post any of these photos on your website, along with my email address? Any assistance you give me would be greatly appreciate.
We had a crazy bunch of guys at Korat 72-73. We had unofficial berets with a tiger emblem patch. One time the flight chief got upset because everyone at guardmount was wearing different head-gear. He said we had to wear caps with a bill (camo baseball caps) style. One of the guys, Sgt Day, (I wish I could remember his first name) showed up at guardmount with a custom made ball cap with a bill 18" long. He also had his uniform pants tailored. He had the tailor add some additional material at the bottom of the leg. He had them tailored into 'bell bottom' fatigues. One of the most fun assignments of my 26 year career.
Thankyou,
