Flight

Cobra Flight Sniper - I took this photo late one night at Phu Cat
from the balcony of the
barracks, looking toward the armory. It shows a member of cobra
flight heading out on ambush.
The original photo was rather foggy but I cleaned it up as much
as possible.

SSgt James Hylton's Fireteam.

Tunnel Rat - Photo taken near MISSOURI mortar pit. On a day off
three of us
checked out some area nearby. Besides tunnels we also found old
Buddhist temple.

View North, from Hill 54 - Practice fire with mortars from Hill
54. Area below smoke
on right (Charlie Island). Phu Cat received first rocket
attack during Tet 1968.
I was on Hill 54 and witnessed the midnight celebration of
the start of Tet.
Rather bizarre to see in all directions tracer rounds fired into
the sky.
