Does anyone remember The Water Point off base? It came under rocket attack during the night and kind of messed things up. I was out there the next day to guard the site and actually traded some "C" rations to the little fellow standing to my right for the Vietnamese flag that's flying on the bunker. He scaled the town flag pole and took down the flag just to get some GI food. I still have that flag. Van Digby's photos are great, too.

5. Here's a photo of me with the SVN flag I traded "C" rations for. I'm holding the photo of the flag flying on the bunker at the Water Point after the attack and after my trade with the local boy who climbed the flag pole in the village to get the flag for me.
