11) Law Enforcement Security Police, armed with an M16.

12) Phan Rang's front gate, at road to Top Cham and Phan Rang.

13) Front Gate: Building in background with stalls was where local workers were searched
both coming in (for explosives, guns, knives, etc) and going out (for contraband).

14) Convoy duty between Phan Rang and Cam Ranh Bay AB. SP Jeep
was a newer M-141 (?) mounted with an M60 machine gun.

15) Part of a convoy over new bridge. The bridge on the
left had been destroyed days before, by Viet Cong.

 
16) Can we ever forget: my favorite canned rations, Meat Balls with beans in
 Tamato Sauce! Remember the heat-tabs and can openers?
